Trying to get a picture of a smiling 6 month old is trickier than you might think! You can see from the last 2 that she spent a lot of time staring at me like I was boring her or trying to eat her clothes!
Helen is wearing 3 to 6 and 6 month clothes, size 2 diapers, and she is eating 4 to 6 ounces at a time. She is still getting up at least once at night to eat. She can roll over now and sits up well on her own!
Every month I think is my favorite age, until the next one! Helen is so much fun, she loves to play and laugh, she loves to go places and see lots of people. She notices the pets now and gets so excited when they let her pet them (read: pull their hair and squeal). She is very into toys now and sits and plays a lot.
Poor baby got her first cold a few weeks ago and her first trip to the doctor when sick. She had a fever and a rash too! We did get to see how much she weighs now, 14 lbs 4 oz! I took off 2 days of work with her and held her the whole time. Those mean doctors won't let the babies have any cold medicine!
This month has been lots of fun, from a great 1st Thanksgiving, to a wonderful ice skating show starring a favorite friend, to a really fun trip to Andalusia! It is so crazy to think 6 months ago today at 4:00 pm we got her!!
