10 months old

Helen is 10 months old! We just had her 9 month check up last week. She got a great report! She weighed 17 lbs 9 oz (25%) and was 28 inches long (50%). She only had to get one shot thank goodness! She really gave the nurse the stink eye! The doctor said she was doing well and just to keep doing what we were doing.

Helen is crawling everywhere, standing unsupported for a few seconds, pulling up, stealing pacifiers and toys, smiling when you say no, reaching out to be picked up and holds on, and likes to high five and wave. She still only has her 2 bottom teeth! She loves to play in her play yard, play with the pets, swing, go for walks, be read too and even has learned to turn the pages for you.

We had a great time camping this weekend, I am so glad she likes it as much as we do!

These pictures are from a fundraiser at Helen's school, who knew she is an artist! Everybody we met from her class said she is thier childs' best friend! She also steals the other babies pacifiers, but doesn't want one of her own! I have a feeling that we will be getting lots of "talks too much" notes from school one day! We love all of her teachers, we are so blessed that she is in such a great school where they really love the kids! One of her teachers gave her an outfit that had been her daughters, so sweet!

She is a very happy and funny baby though and we are so thrilled to get to be her parents! We can't believe she will be ONE in less than 2 months! Time to start planning a birthday party!
