Helen is 20 months old! She is a wild woman and loves to go! This is her famous fish face, she loves to make faces, kiss, eskimo kiss, make animal sounds, run, scream and laugh, dance and sing, and unfortunately usually doesn't mind going to time out. Lord help us!
She still loves going to school. She is obviously a baby genious because she learned to knit this month at school, ha! She has the best teachers. She really enjoyed all the treats for Valentine's day and getting to wear her pajamas to school that day.
She loves being with other kids. We have discovered that taking her out to eat is no problem, as long as she has a friend to sit in the high chair beside her, and share food (she will eat most anything if her friends eat it first. We are so lucky to have such great neighborhood friends too!
She really enjoys being with her grandparents, because she can get them to do anything she wants! They sing, dance with tambarines, read, give her m & m's, etc
Helen is wearing 18 month clothes and size 3 diapers during the day and size 4 at night. She still drinks a bottle every night at bed time (don't judge me, the similac box says for 9 to 24 months old and I am going with that). She is also still surviving on pasta with tomato sauce, fruit of all kinds, crackers and puffs, anything sweet, cucumbers and scrambled eggs. She is talking so much more, all of the sudden she will say a word we had no idea she knew! She has also started to put two words together to let us know her wishes. The first time she did that she said, "No banana".
She loves to get us to kiss her boo boo's multiple times, wear a hair bow for about 5 minutes, color (not that much on paper, mostly on the table), brush her teeth with lots of toothpaste, play with Emma, play outside, run, ride in her wagon, go to the zoo and ride the train, go to music class, and take as many babies as possible with her on the tricycle or rides in the laundry basket!
And here is one of my other favorite faces, "What you talkin bout Willis?"
She is such a joy and such a blessing! I can't believe she has been ours for 20 months! Now, we have to start thinking about her 2 year old birthday party!
