For Helen's second birthday party this summer, we had a barnyard animal theme. Brian's cousin made the cake for us again, and it was perfect and so good! She also made cupcakes for the kids! We are so lucky!
We had a petting zoo in the back yard. Helen loves animals! We found a place that brings the animals right to your yard and sets up pins and brings food for the kids to hand feed them. They had so much fun! We invited lots of her friends from school and her favorite teacher, Miss JuJu (our new favorite cousin). We also were blessed to have her grandparents, and many of our close friends and other family to be able to celebrate with us. We set up tents in the backyard to keep the petting zoo animals cool and more tents for the kids to sit under to eat their chicken nuggets, puffs, finger sandwiches, veggies and fruit.
After we played outside and fed all the animals, it was time for cake!
She wasn't sure what to do while everybody sang, so she just covered her face! But she did blow out the candle! Then it was time to open presents!
We had a great day! Happy Birthday to our sweet girl!!
