2014 Year in Review
January Helen had a great time at school and loved her teacher Mrs. Moe so much!!
For the first time in my 18 years of teaching I spent the night at school! We were snowed in with almost 1,000 middle schoolers!
At the end of January our dearest friends welcomed this beautiful baby boy into the world! We have loved getting to know him this year! What a blessing.
February More snow, what? This is Alabama people!!
Created for Care 2014 with my favorite Pennsylvania girls!! I can't believe we met on this adoption mama's retreat in 2011 and have been lucky enough to go every year since and form a strong and fun friendship!
March We made lots of cakes this month with Nana! So much fun!
April I got a free day off from school for having to spend the night in the snow storm. Nana and Dada took us to Orange Beach for the long weekend!!
Helen loved all the Easter egg hunts this year! She may have stolen that basket from Mrs. Moe!
May We had lots of fun meeting Elsa at a sweet friends birthday party! What a great year Helen had in the 2 year old class at school, I can't believe it's over!
June We had so much fun on our annual trip to Destin with the Forbes! Can't wait for next year!
We celebrated Helen's 3rd birthday with a backyard bbq.
July We spent July 4th at our family reunion in Boston, MA. Helen loved the plane ride and the fun with cousins!
Then we were able to spend time with our uncle in Connecticut before flying home!
We went to Orlando to pick up our new camper, so we simply had to spend some time at Disney World!! She is so into princesses! It was so much fun to see her face when she met and got to hug a princess!
August Back to school!
September We went to Mexico Beach for the weekend with Nana and Dada. It was beautiful and we had a great time!
October Helen was a mermaid for Trunk or Treat at church and Sophia the First for Halloween with friends.
Helen and Juju at the Native American Festival in Moundville, AL
November Helen had a Thanksgiving program at school.
December Helen and her Godsisters get their picture made with Santa every year. It is one of my favorite traditions!
She was the star in the Christmas program at church and loved meeting Santa afterwards, but didn't sit in his lap!
