Wow! We can't believe our baby is almost 2 years old! She is talking up a storm, all the sudden she is saying so many new words! My favorite new thing she has learned is to say "thank you" when we give her something. She has been saying "please" (peas) for a long time, which makes it hard not to give her what she wants when she says it really sweetly. And now it is twice as hard with the addition of a sweet "thank you" (tan choo). We also love that when she sees the moon she wants us to say the "I see the moon, the moon sees me" poem and at the last line she points at herself and says "me"!
A few of her favorite things this month: wearing Aunt Garian's lipgloss, wearing her cowboy hat to school and taking a purse, holding the new baby next door, swinging and playing outside, reading and reading and reading, and being with her favorite teacher Miss Jordan (she just started calling her Ju Ju, so cute) and we just discovered she is our distant cousin (love it!), friends birthday parties from school with cupcakes, the school fundraiser with bounce houses and cotton candy galore, and having friends over for lunch!
Helen is still wearing mostly 18 month clothes, but is wearing more and more 24 months clothes too. She is still drinking a bottle at night, she loves her woobies (she calls them woo woo's) and likes to hold two of them to go night night. She also sleeps with puppy, kitty, and lamb stuffed animals in her bed, with a baby doll for good measure. She wears a size 4 diaper. She is still eating mostly noodles (which she calls nu nu's), greek yogurt popsicles, peanut butter, nutella, cucumber slices and fruit. She will eat an occasional piece of ham or chicken, and scrambled eggs. She never turns down cupcakes, ice cream or candy!
