As you can see, Helen finally has enough hair for pigtails!! We are so excited and she loves them too. She had a lot of fun at school this month, she made me the sweetest Mother's day card and tried out doing headstands instead of napping a few days too. She loves her friends at school and her teachers so much. We are so blessed! She really enjoyed going to music class and we were sad it ended this month. She loves to sing and dance, at home she always asks for "mama" which means Wagon Wheel by Old Crowe Medicine Show. She has also learned to do front flips this month and finds lots of opportunities to show off her new skill. She is talking up a storm and likes to say, "Bye fish, bye Tutu (turtle),see you momomo (tomorrow" over and over since we saw them at the zoo. She loves to be read to and likes to pretend to read herself. She loves to paint her hands and feet and make prints at school and color (she calls crayons dadows).
She is getting so much taller she can open and close doors (scary) and reach things on the counter (also scary). She brings us things all the time from the pantry, especially Emma's dog treats. She would give her the whole box if we let her, Emma says she doesn't mind. She also like to wash things, play in the hose, and take Emma on walks. She is obsessed with babies, real ones and dolls. She knows the rules though and never touches or kisses a real baby on the face or hands, although it is hard and she really wants to. She says "bye" real loud to things she doesn't like and cheers when something turns off (like the lawn mower)that scares her.
She is wearing 24 months clothes, size 5 shoes, size 4 diapers and still drinking one or two bottles a day. She is still surviving on noodles, popsicles, and fruit.
She learned to say, "I love you!" this month. It is the sweetest thing ever! She does say it a lot when we are trying to get her to go to sleep because she knows we will rock her a little bit longer and maybe sing another round of Row, Row, Row your boat. We can't believe our baby will be two years old next month!!! She is our best girl and we are so proud of the little girl she is becoming!
Isn't it amazing how much bigger they look with pigtails?? She is adorable!
