Helen's last day of school was May 20, so she spent the rest of the week with her Aunt JuJu. You can see that they had a great time playing in the water!
So, we drove to Dallas, TX to visit MiMi and Papaw for Memorial day. It was a loooong drive! Helen had such a good time though getting to visit with her Texas family, visiting the zoo and the aquarium, and playing in the garden! She can't wait to go back next summer!
She loves to paint her feet and asks to paint all the time, so we painted and colored a lot this month! She also loved going to the pool by our house, and borrowing peoples masks!
We had lots of fun with our neighbors!
We took Brian to the zoo for Father's Day and rode the train! Helen knew he would love it!
Since we had her party early, for her actual birthday we went to the zoo! (What a shocker!) We rode the train and the carousel and had so much fun. We went home and had cupcakes afterwards.
Helen enjoys a popsicle for breakfast! She also still loves noodles, cucumbers, and apple pouches. She will eat chicken salad and peanut butter. But still is pretty picky. She is trying more food again so that is good. She wears a size 4 diaper and 18 - 24 months clothes. She drinks a bottle before bedtime (don't tell) and loves her woobies (blankets) and babies. Her favorite things to do are to go to the park to slide and swing, swim or play in the hose, and #1 favorite go to the zoo! At her 2 year old appointment she was 24 pounds and 32 inches tall. She had to get a shot and still talks about it! "Daddy take me to doctors office, I brave, I get shot, Daddy hold my hand. I get ice cream." She is talking up a storm and so much fun! We just can't believe that our baby is two and really not a baby anymore! What an amazing two years it has been!
