Holding Steady at #2

So, today is the 18th and that is when I email my fab social worker.  She said we are still #2.  I also asked her about updating our home study, I thought you had to do it every year.  She said you only have to do it every 2 years!! I am so excited because not only does that save a good chunk of money, but mostly because I don't have to get that terrible shot thing again.  They test you for every kind of disease you can think of when you do the physical for the homestudy. One of the things is a test to see if you have tb.  Remember back in the good ole days when it was a four prong thumb tack looking thing that they popped on your arm? Then you watched it to see if it did anything?  Well my friends, now it is a needle with some terrible something in it that they lay flat on your arm and push the stuff in right under your skin, real slow until it makes a bubble under your skin.  Then you watch it for 2 days.  I almost passed out, they had to fan me and put cold cloths on my neck.  Praise the Lord I don't have to do it again!! (It didn't bother Brian at all, but I guess after 2 hip replacements, nothing does) Ha! Happy Friday! :) ca

  2. Hi! I found your blog while blog-hopping, hope you don't mind if I follow along. I'm so excited that you are #2 on the wait list! Praying your match comes soon. My hubby and I were matched a few weeks ago and our baby girl is scheduled to make her arrival next week! What an awesome journey God has called us to be on!
