I found this fabric that I loved and am going to take it to the seamstress next week to have the dust ruffle made out of the striped fabric and the bumper pad out of the checked pattern. I really like that these fabrics are gender neutral since we have no idea whether we will get a girl or a boy!
Then we painted the room, blue for the ceiling and yellow for the walls.
My sweet Godmother gave us this great corner shelf.
We finally got around to getting plantation shutters for all the bedrooms and bathrooms. (That made it sound like we had a lot of bedrooms and bathrooms, we don't, don't be fooled)
The crib, a great hand-me-down from my sweet Godsisters!!!!
We got this great rocker/glider/recliner for Christmas from Brian's mom
and her husband. It is so comfortable!
and her husband. It is so comfortable!
My parents got us this darling dresser. Mother and I saw it at an antique store and I went back to visit it several times before we got it. I just love it in the room and the color is a perfect match, it was meant to be!
Last week I ordered this changing table, I was thrilled that it matched the crib so well. I also got a mattress so the baby won't have to sleep on the metal springs (as if we will ever set them down).
Now, we need just need to get a rug and some other odds and ends.
I can't wait to see how the bedding turns out, I will put up some pics when it is finished.
If we just had a baby to put in there it would be perfect!! :)
We had this pillow made for the chair and hung the rack to display some of her dresses.
One of my dearest and totally amazing friends, Jen, painted her monogram to go above her bed. I love it so much!! Also, her bedding was ready just 3 days before we got her, what timing! I think it turned out great!
How much do you love that pink feather wreath! Garian (another amazingly wonderful friend) brought it to put on the front door and I never want to take it down!
We opted for curtains on the closet to soften it up a bit. And added an old wicker chair for extra seating.

Ooohhhh.....you have the crib and changing table!! I can't wait to see it in person tomorrow night! Love it all!!!
