So, yesterday it was our one year anniversary of being on the waiting list with Family Adoption Services. In one way it is so hard to believe that a year has gone by and in other ways it feels like we have been waiting forever. I go back and forth between feeling like we need to hurry and get things ready and not wanting to do too much too soon. When we started this journey everyone said it would be a roller coaster ride and they were right. The waiting and worrying and hoping and situations that you hear about that might mean a baby for your family and then don't work out. I know that God has a plan, but sometimes I wish he would hurry!
On another fun note, I got the cutest diaper bag. I am packing it with a new outfit from White Flowers to bring the baby home in, our flip video camera and digital camera. Also some emergency lipstick and earings for me, you can never be too careful!! :)
How cute is that? And it was made in one of my favorite cities!!
