Helen had her first zoo trip this month and she was a big fan! Brian carried her in the backpack so she would be up high enough to see everything. We got to see the elephants eating apples, which she loved.
This month she also enjoyed a family trip to Ashville, NC and her Godsister's birthday party with a huge blow up water slide and sno cones!
We are so lucky to have the best neighbors and our kids all have fun together! I am so glad she will have these kids to grow up with!
Helen is getting so big and finally will wear a pair of shoes! She loves to play with the magnets on the fridge.
As you can see, she is still on the bottle and quite happy about it! She only has 2 bottles a day now, one for afternoon nap and one before bed. She will eat almost anything, especially if you let her reach in the bag or box herself or feed herself with a spoon. We are so sad summer is over! We had such a good time playing outside and going to the pool! I am so glad that I am a teacher and have so much time in the summer to spend with her, but it was so hard to come back to school. We have both had seperation anxiety! She has not wanted to eat or sleep at school, and I have made up for it by eating lots of candy and drinking lots of diet cokes to soothe my sadness! Not good for either of us! Hopefully we will get in the swing of things soon.
